Southern Power prides itself on its aftermarket service for boat repairs and boat spares as we understand that there a very few bad products in this day and age. There is only poor aftermarket service. Southern Power provides this service through a large inventory of boat aftermarket spares that are distributed through:
• Various service modes,
• Direct aftermarket support through our highly skilled product and boat spare parts departments;
• Close collaboration with our product principles and their aftermarket support teams, and
• Lastly; through appointed service dealers and competent sub-contractors which are provided genuine aftermarket boat spares by Southern Power to get the job done right first time.
Southern Power carries over 10 000 boat spares in stock to ensure the high availability of spare parts. We have a robust ordering system that ensures stock levels are kept at optimal levels. In addition, our system ensures that specific parts which are not in stock are ordered quickly and delivered in short timeframes.
Furthermore, Southern Power has processes to expedite urgent orders of boat spares and boat engines for sale such us the Volvo Penta VOR system which has parts picked, packed and shipped on the same day and these arrive within three days from ordering these from Europe. Our boat spares personnel have over 35 years of combined experience to ensure you are not let down by service items not being in stock.
We pride ourselves in prompt friendly service and want you to become a satisfied customer. If we do not have your part in our stock holding, most parts can be delivered within 24 hours. Failed parts are replaced with brand new parts. These are , inspected and tested. Brands we distribute and service continuously invest in environmentally friendly solutions so that you can rest assured you are buying energy-efficient and sustainable products.

Southern Power has appointed service dealers across South Africa and Namibia for its Volvo Penta business. We have appointed service dealers across Sub Saharan Africa for some of our other quickly growing products. These include, but are not limited to, OXE Marine Diesel Outboards, Webasto Air Conditioning and heating systems, Whisper Power Generators and Power Electronics and Torqeedo electric propulsion systems.
Our dealers have well-trained technicians, carry service boat spares and are regularly updated on new developments, perform warranty and campaign work in conjunction with our OEM benchmarks.
Quarterly and annual performance audits are carried out to ensure all service partners maintain the high service standards as required by us and our OEM principles. As such they have become very much an extension of the Southern Power family. Their dedication to our collective customers and brands represented are the difference.
