Southern Marine

Southern Marine was established in Cape Town in 1995, with its primary focus being the repairing and servicing of small marine diesel engines for the commercial fishing and yachting fraternity. Having drawn on its experience in this field, the business is now largely focused on the remanufacturing of affordable marine engines. Southern Marine is one of Southern Power’s two local workshops of choice and also specialises in the servicing and maintenance of standby generator sets. Magson Marine

Situated in the main road of Strand in the Western Cape, Magson Marine is an official agent for MasterCraft boats and is one of the biggest authorised Yamaha Dealers in Strand and the Cape Town area, specialising in Yamaha outboards, Yamaha marine boats, jet skis and accessories. Magson also manufactures its own boats for sale. The team at Magson Marine takes great care whenever doing an outboard installation. Africa Strongboat

Southern Power service dealer Africastrongboat specialises in inland water transport (IWT) in Sub Saharan Africa and can offer a wide range of services in the engineering, infrastructure, projects, education and operations sectors.​ Africa is endowed with a number of rivers and lakes that have great potential to carry inexpensive, energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly inland water transport vessels. Southern Power believes that Africa Strongboat will lead the industry to open many new waterways as it creates and builds locally tailor-made canoes, boats, ferries, barges and other solutions to meet the needs of IWT in Africa.

With many of our Cape Town clients heading up the coast in the summer months, they can always rely on the expertise of Knysna Marine. After setting up and running Linex Yamaha’s Marine operation in Johannesburg for 10 years, Hugh Mackenzie founded Knysna Marine in 1983. Today, Hugh, together with his son Gary and their team of certified Yamaha technicians, are more than capable of handling any necessary boat or engine maintenance.
